It's been a while again lol... How's everybody doing? I have been working and getting back to some art stuff. Summer is hot, things going somewhat slow, but progressing, so there's that.

Our Paint v0.5 is out!

For people who have been following the progress of Our Paint^↗, I have just released the new version of it! This version included a newly developed dual component pigment canvas which give much better looking color mixing result.

A few new brushes are also available, which are fine tuned to works specifically with pigment canvas(In RGB mode they also behave very well).

Other than that, just some general stability improvements and stuff like that. Overall I have been satisfied with how it works rn, and it's pretty stable throughout my recent painting sessions.

Other Updates

I have been thinking about my approaches to designing props and other elements for putting into pieces of painting and also for potentially manufacturing into physical devices.

The manufacturing-ability part is a big constraint and sometimes it's conflicting with the visual aspect of things. With 3d print we can hopefully solve some of those problems, but a lot of the designs (especially non-miniature ones) require huge 4/5 axis machines to be properly made. All these factors are now dictating my design process and yeah I'll see how it goes.
