Hi guys! Summer is kinda over now which means finally cooler temperature :D Hope everyone is doing just fine!

New Art

I was doing more artworks in Our Paint with the newly added pigment feature, everything seems super stable actually which is a good thing. During the painting of this bigger piece^↗ I actually found some slight issues with the file reader/writer part of laGUI for handling bigger files greater than 2GB, but luckily it didn't break existing files. I only need to fix some slight issues when reading the file. Overall things with Our Paint is doing very well.

Some other art stuff

With Our Paint stabilized more, I now have more time to do my own artwork and design stuff. Turns out the design part of things are still pretty unnatural to me, especially the visual side of things. I think more logically and functionally, which for the most of the time doesn't lead to readable/pleasing/desirable silhouette in designs. I am now trying to use silhouette first before I nail down visual structures, which is a technique that I haven't practiced for the longest of time lol... But it seems to bring reasonably nice result. My friend ratty has told me that I may need to include more story/world building into individual designs in terms of functionality, that is a good idea, so I may combine that mentality with my visual driven design method and see where it goes.

Preparing for BCon 2025

I'm gonna go to Blender Conference 2025 this year as well. I'm gonna prepare myself for some stuff I need to take for artists friends and so on. I think it's gonna be very cool to meet them and talk stuff. This year the con happens a month earlier, so maybe we can get some better weather.

Anyways

Since the temperature is getting cooler, I'm not sure how my throat is gonna handle it, but I'll see how it goes. I think there will be more art coming up :D
