We had Chinese New Year this month! And weather is getting slightly not that cold here too which is very much welcomed.

CAD / Wu-Surface research progress

I have a lot of additional notes down on this topic^↗ already. The whole idea is mathematically sound but there are more problems in regard to the user interaction in terms of how shape slicing / layering should be done in the UV / Projection space. T-junction is already not a problem now. Once I have a better idea on the UI of shape layering, I can start design the data structure and think about extra corner cases that might be missing, then coding follows.

Over The Edge art zine is now running!

The 1st issue of Over The Edge art zine^↗ has been kicked off! It's also available on itch.io^↗ if anyone is curious to check :D. We have a dozen of participants making very cool artworks to go with it!

And this second month's zine is coming up pretty nicely too, A few other artists reached out to me and is kicking the bucket. I think this is pretty cool, it means that the zine is at least reaching some people!

Over the last month I had some discussions with my artist friends about the zine and I'm getting a more clear image on the purpose of the zine and how we may be able to get more people excited about it. Was also looking at some other indie artistic publishing initiatives and getting more ideas. This is gonna be an awesome journey for me and all the artists who participate!
