For once I remembered to make a newsletter for this month yay! Weather has became a bit chillier here. Hope you guys all have warmth where you live in :)

Slow Month

After finishing up with my fictional weapon prop^↗ and an overall unsuccessful messy wiring session for the electric part of the model, I decide to move on from this project. It's been fun and I've learned experiences. One downside is that it's created some additional physical collection of tools and etc that I do need to find space to put. Other than that, some little progress^↗ on the CAD research, and general blender works and stuff, nothing special.

New Art!

It's another rooftop^↗. Kinda hit home with another earlier piece^↗. What I found with this piece is that I need to have a secondary mixing feature for Our Paint, essentially use already-mixed color as input pigment. That way it can create more subtle hues. Gotta take time to implement this kind of stuff.

Over the Edge art zine project

This month I have been preparing for the first issue of this new collaborative art zine project^↗. Basically, I invited a bunch of friends to make an art zine with whatever they have done artistically during the month. The idea is that the form of this "magazine" promotes more detailed showcases and discussions that are not very easily attainable on social media fragmented posts.

So far, just a handful of my artist friends have joined, some made artwork specially for the zine submission, most of them posted progress and snippets on their own projects. Every artists owns their copyright as well.

The first issue of the zine is due to release at the end of this month, by the time you will be able to find the link to the downloadable PDF and also it will be distributed on itch.io. If any of you guys are interested in such a collaborative project, please feel free to poke me :D
